I went out yesterday morning to a favourite location of mine to evaluate the Fuji’s ability for landscape shooting using long exposures. I must say that I am really impressed with the way the camera has rendered this picture. The gradation between the different shades of light and dark is very subtle and the level of detail within the picture is exceptional.
Dynamic range is excellent, you can see a lot of shadow detail in the rocks – many cameras would have had difficulty dealing with such a high contrast scene in low light.
Taken with the 35mm f/1.4 Fujinon. 28 seconds @ f/16, ISO 200.
